Helmet care extends the life of your helmet's exterior shell, visor and interior padding. Accumulating sweat, oils and grime can degrade the EPS liner and shell coatings over time, and a dirty visor reduces optical clarity and increases eyestrain on long rides. The Bike Yard stocks purpose-formulated helmet cleaners, interior deodorisers and visor polishes that are safe on all shell finishes including painted, carbon fibre and matte surfaces. Our range includes spray cleaners for the outer shell, antibacterial interior sprays for the liner and cheekpads, and microfibre cloths for streak-free visor cleaning. Prices from KES 900. Never use petrol, alcohol or household cleaners on helmet shells, these can degrade the outer surface and the EPS impact liner beneath it.
