Built for the demanding tropical and urban climates of East Africa, the LS2 Atom features a hybrid material construction using a strategic blend of premium perforated goat leather, heavy-duty lock mesh, synthetic leather, and flexible Lycra. The extensively perforated leather panels on the fingers and palm work alongside open-weave mesh sections on the backhand to maximize cooling during hot city commutes or long highway tours. For enhanced dexterity, integrated stretch fabric panels on the palm and fingers ensure unrestricted control over your throttle, brake levers, and handlebar switches.
Rider safety is paramount, and the LS2 Atom Glove is fully CE certified to the stringent EN13594:2015-1-KP protection standard. It features a rigid, lightweight carbon fiber knuckle shield providing exceptional impact dispersion. An integrated thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) slider on the lower palm minimizes friction during a slide, protecting vital scaphoid bones from impact and hyper-extension. Additionally, high-durability Styrene-Butadiene Rubber (SBR) foam inserts line the fingers for extra shock absorption, while high-wear areas are reinforced with synthetic suede overlays to significantly increase abrasion resistance where it matters most.
