The LS2 MJ145, famously known as the LS2 Sepang, is a high-performance, touring-style waterproof jacket meticulously designed for riders who prioritize safety and versatility. Whether you are navigating the daily urban commute or embarking on an entry-level touring adventure, the Sepang offers a reliable shield against the elements while maintaining a professional, technical aesthetic.
Engineered to handle unpredictable weather, the MJ145 features an outer shell fabricated from robust 600D Polyester Oxford cloth. This material provides a heavy-duty defense against abrasion while remaining lightweight enough to ensure agility on the bike. To manage wet conditions, the jacket is equipped with a fixed breathable waterproof membrane rated at 5000mm H2O, ensuring you stay dry during moderate rainfall.
This jacket is built for multi-season performance. It includes a detachable thermal liner that provides essential insulation during cold morning rides or high-altitude transits. When temperatures rise, the liner can be easily removed, and the strategic air intake zippers located on the arms and back can be opened to promote cross-flow ventilation, effectively reducing heat buildup and keeping the rider cool.
Protection is at the core of the LS2 Sepang design. It comes standard with a comprehensive 5-piece protection kit, featuring CE Level 1 removable soft slow-bounce protectors at the shoulders and elbows. For enhanced security, it includes a soft back pad and a dedicated pocket compatible with the LS2 851 Level 2 back protector. To ensure safety during night-time transit, integrated reflective strips are positioned on the chest, arms, and back to maximize rider visibility.
The MJ145 is designed for long-distance comfort. It features a Neoprene comfort-edge collar to prevent neck chafing and multiple adjustment points—including Velcro straps at the waist, cuffs, and upper arms—to provide a personalized, flap-free fit at high speeds. This ergonomic focus ensures that the jacket moves with the rider, reducing fatigue on extended journeys.
