The LS2 Storm III (FF818) represents the latest evolution in LS2’s world-renowned sport-touring lineup. Building upon the massive success of its predecessor, the Storm III Kaos edition features a vibrant, multi-color "splash" design on a matte black base, making it a standout choice for riders who demand both style and substance. Engineered to meet the rigorous ECE 22.06 safety standards, this helmet provides superior protection for urban commuting and long-distance touring.
The helmet is crafted from LS2’s proprietary Kinetic Polymer Alloy (KPA), a high-tech blend of polycarbonate and space-age thermoplastics. This material ensures high penetration resistance and excellent energy dispersion while maintaining a lightweight profile of approximately 1600g. With an intermediate oval shape and three distinct shell sizes, the Storm III provides a precise, low-profile fit for maximum aerodynamic stability.
Equipped with the Twin Shield System, the FF818 includes a Class A Polycarbonate outer visor that prevents distortion and ensures maximum clarity. The integrated drop-down sun visor is easily operated by a side slider, providing instant relief from glare. For all-weather performance, the helmet comes with a Pinlock 70 MaxVision anti-fog insert included, ensuring a clear field of view in the humid or chilly conditions often found in high-altitude regions like Limuru or Mount Kenya.
Stay cool under the East African sun with the Dynamic Flow-Through Ventilation system. Large intake ports on the chin and top work in tandem with rear exhaust ports to circulate air and pull heat out. The interior features an "Extra Comfort" liner made of breathable, hypoallergenic fabrics that are fully removable and washable. 3D laser-cut cheek pads ensure a snug, ergonomic fit without uncomfortable pressure points.
