As the evolved successor to the best-selling original Strobe, the FF908 introduces significant upgrades in shell material, aerodynamics, and global safety certifications, setting a new benchmark for flip-front helmets in the East African market.
Built to meet the rigorous ECE 22.06 safety standard, the Strobe II provides superior impact protection. The shell is constructed from LS2’s proprietary KPA (Kinetic Polymer Alloy)—a space-age blend of polycarbonate and thermoplastics that offers high penetration resistance and exceptional energy dispersion while remaining remarkably lightweight. Notably, the helmet features Dual Homologation (P/J), meaning the 90-degree rotating chin bar is safety-rated for use in both the closed and open positions while riding.
Designed specifically for "long oval" head shapes, the interior is optimized for all-day touring comfort. The 3D laser-cut foam padding matches the contours of the face precisely to eliminate pressure points. The lining is fully removable, washable, and crafted from breathable, hypoallergenic, and moisture-wicking fabrics. For added practicality, the "Easy Fit" channels comfortably accommodate eyeglass frames, while a thick neck roll and chin curtain significantly minimize wind noise and turbulence at highway speeds.
The Strobe II features a Twin Visor System, including a clear, scratch-resistant outer shield and an integrated drop-down sun visor operated by a smooth, glove-friendly slider. To ensure clear vision during humid morning rides or mountain climbs, the main visor is prepared for the Pinlock 70 MaxVision system. A tool-less quick-release mechanism allows for rapid visor swaps in seconds.
